This Post is Totally Mediocre

. 1 min read

I swear to you it is. There's honestly nothing special about it. It probably won't change your life, give you some new insight, and chances are it'll barely even amuse you. Hit the back button, exit this browser tab, I wouldn't blame you if you did. It's so mediocre that I won't even post it to Facebook or bother trying to share it; it'll just sit here until somebody comes along for whatever reason and clicks it.

You, my dear reader, are that somebody. Way to go.

One thing this post does have going for it is the fact that it is Published. With a capital P. And that alone makes it far more prestigious than any of the numerous post sitting in my drafts panel. There's a post that I started back in February and it's now mid-October. I've been so afraid of putting out mediocre content that my only action has been inaction.

If you've made it this far, I suppose the least I could do is tell you something that might change your life, and it is this:

You 100% are going to create mediocre/weak/subpar work on the road to greatness. Embrace it, because it's the only way you'll ever improve.

So there you have it, I did the damn thing. It's pretty weak and non-original, but damn does it feel great to hit Publish.
